Mumbai, March 2 (IANS) Bollywood actor Upen Patel, readied to start firing with Atharvaa Murali for “Boomerang,” claims the new trend seems to be of Bollywood heroes getting unfavorable roles in the southern film.
Upen had played an adverse role in Shankar’s Telugu movie ‘I.’
“I have been lucky sufficient to be given my debut in the southern movie by Shankar sir with ‘I’, whose next is ‘2.0’ with Rajinikanth sir as well as Akshay Kumar, where Akshay will undoubtedly be seen in an adverse role.
“Bollywood heroes transformed into southerly movie bad guys appears to be the new fad. I am simply happy to be part of great cinema and to be able to work in both Hindi as well as southern divisions,” he said.
Upen is playing the primary villain in “Boomerang”.
“The movie is modern, but since it is a thriller, I can not expose much regarding the film. It is not an ordinary thriller, where a tale focuses on a love story and also betrayal yet it’s a one-of-a-kind story.
“The action series are simply wonderful. Exactly what I like regarding the film is that there are numerous factors included. I think the southerly cinema always brings new as well as fresh titles in various stories. That excited me to do this movie as well as it is not something you have seen before,” Upen claimed.
Asked which southerly movie franchise business would certainly he want to be a part of, Upen, who made his Bollywood launching with “36 China Town”, claimed: “I would certainly like to do a film like ‘Bahubali’. I don’t know any other artist who would certainly not want to become part of a franchise business that is as huge as ‘Bahubhali’.
“The script, scenes, instructions, music all of it is, just incredible,” he claimed.
